The binding on this quilt is less than 5 inches too short! I guess measuring would have been a good idea. Or pinning. Ah, well. I'll finish this silly thing eventually.

Busy Little Quilting Bee

There have been a few quilting bees going on around crafty blogland and they have all been beautiful! (who doesn't love sharing something that brings them joy) How excited am I to be a part of one myself!! Thanks to Sarah of A Small Fox In A Big World for putting together the Busy Little Quilting Bee. Something I made will be a part of someone else's quilt and I'll have a quilt that will have the work of 16 other people !! Oh, man!! I can hadly wait to see what happens!

AND...I went to the APNQ Quilt show with ~C and my mom and I'm just itching to start some new projects!! One thing at a time...off to write about Rocks.

More muffins and pies for my freezer!!

More babies!

This is the first of what looks like at least 3 more baby gifts this year!!! This one is for a book club friend. (Given last night at a very cute, yummy dessert baby shower. Fun.)
I used Chickpea Sewing Studio's Diaper Burp Cloth tutorial for the burp cloths! Super fast gift! I hope they mop up lots of burps! (and, isn't that fish fabric rad? I love it!)

I love fabric and even have a few favorite designers and companies. I love all 3 of Denyse Schmidt's lines (my Flea Market Fancy and Katie Jump Rope are my favorite fabrics ever!) so far and am waiting to see what she does next!!
I also Love a LOT of Heather Ross' work. A LOT. And now, not only has she just released another lovely line, but has also started a Blog! Called Weekend . AND she is going to release a book!! I'd better start saving $$ now! I'm going to need a lot of Heather Ross fabric to go with my Heather Ross projects!! I am so excited !!
